What is the difference of mental health during the pandemic?
Generally, mental health problem is being probed based on an individual while suggestion or advise still can be provided from us to those individuals who have such problem. However, every individual's mental health is being affected during this pandemic, all of us are experiencing a common psychological state and discussing the same issues and concerns. This epidemic mental health holds an infectious power, which may cause some of the minority, the positive-minded people to self-doubt whether they are normal to feel positive. As a result, they follow the crowd and start to react negatively.

What are the phenomenon of our psychological states during MCO/COVID-19 Pandemic? Is it normal? When do I need professional assistance?
It is totally normal to have emotional problems, stress and the inability to concentrate at work. As humans that are meant to be surrounded by people, we are facing an adaptation problem with our current life of staying indoors. Although introverts may not react strongly towards this changes, yet, it is undeniable that we all need nature and sunshine to get positive energy. In fact, long term working indoors is the same as working at home during this pandemic, as both working environments are not able to provide sunshine and nature, and this cause problem in our diet, daily life, and sleep. It is recommended to recreate a timetable for your own to maintain a regular routine before seeking professional assistance.

What should we do during MCO/COVID-19 Pandemic to adapt our life after MCO?
It is important to maintain a regular routine considering three main aspects below:
  1. Career. It is important to classify your work tasks into two categories, deep work and non-deep work, especially parents. Besides, learning new knowledge, such as new technologies, skills, working styles and ways of interacting with children are beneficial too.
  2. Psychological State. Expand your social circle and connect more with others, social communication is important for our psychological health.
  3. Body. Take care of your body, maintain our health, exercise more.

How do we deal if we can't resume to our lifestyle before MCO?
It is encouraged to learn the skills and knowledge needed for the future through reliable channels by attending online teaching and reading articles. Parents need to consider the potential problems that the children will be facing in the future. Parents may train children about key precautions, such as hand-washing, mask-wearing, and social distance. Remember, MCO is not a holiday and be prepared for your life after MCO. By maintaining a regular routine. It motivates us to live our life, at the same time, allows us to adapt to the new life after MCO better.
