a Life Care to Love Volunteer Team - April 21, 2019

On 21st April 2019 (Sunday), a Life Care to Love Volunteer Team had participated in OBSM Charity Fair 2019 at SJK(C) Puay Chai from 7:30am – 2:30pm. The teachers and children joined in together to sell vegetarian food and drinks in several stalls to raise money for a good cause.

Communication:

Communication is the basis of every interpersonal relationship. In the OBSM charity fair, the children have learned to interact with people by giving their best effort to reach out and promote their food and drinks to the people.

Cooperation:

Besides, Care to Love Volunteer Team also focus on cultivate children’s ability of working together with others. The children are willing to be helpful towards each other by taking care of their stalls and fund-raising for the organizer.

The children not only made a contribution for charitable cause through their actions, they also cultivated a loving heart in which willing to offer their effort and time to others. Meanwhile, the children utilized the “Six-Step” formula to remind themselves of:

1. Safety first
2. Eyes - observe
3. Ears - listen
4. Mouth - speak nicely
5. Hands - work
6. Work dedication

Conclusion:

The children were able to discover the joy of giving in the path of growth with the learning model of “Learn by doing, Aware by learning, Practice with awareness”.
