a Life & Love Series 《Love & Hope: Together, We Share Kasih Hospice Charity Fair 2017》

Puchong, September 24, 2017, Life Educare Foundation had participated in the Kasih Hospice fundraising event at The Club @ Bukit Utama from 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

In the event, we had set up several stalls selling vegetarian food and products. Empathy and gratitude of children were cultivated by joining this event together with children, teachers, parents and volunteers. Besides that, the team spirit, logical and reasoning thinking of children were developed.

The day before the event, the children learnt stall preparation and food selling techniques for better performance on the event day. The teacher in charge had also briefed the children on the purposes and the benefits of this fundraising event. This helps to promote better empathy and contribution among the children in this event as well as in the future. Interacting with customers helps to develop the children’s social skills and enable them to understand better on the difficulties of “work” and “earn”. The teamwork among teachers, children, parents and volunteers enabled the children to learn the importance of team spirit, respect and obedience.

The food and products, contribution, donations, dedicated hardwork and loves from all of the children, the team, parents and volunteers, had helped to succeed the 《a Life & Love Series -Love & Hope: Together, We Share Kasih Hospice Charity Fair 2017》event in a meaningful way.
